Took a trip with my son Josh to visit Kodiak Island. Josh was born there. I served in the U.S. Coast Guard there from 1975 to 1980. We went there on May 1, 2008 and let me tell you it was cold and snowing. It was great to be back. Both of us found something we had been missing on Kodiak. Took lots of great pictures. Spent some time with our really great friends. Now the only question on my mind is "how do I get back to Kodiak?"
